When creating Part Two products, we prioritise the use of our ‘preferred materials’. These materials are chosen because we are committed to continuously improving and expanding our sourcing of alternatives to conventional materials and production methods. Below is an overview of some of our preferred materials, which include certified materials, branded fibres, and materials developed in collaboration with the organisations we work with.
BETTER COTTON
At Part Two, we are proud members of Better Cotton™, working to improve cotton farming practices globally.
Better Cotton is sourced via a chain-of-custody model called mass balance. This means that Better Cotton is not physically traceable to end products. Consequently, our Better Cotton products will not contain actual Better Cotton, but will help increase the demand and production of cotton cultivated under Better Cotton conditions
LEATHER WORKING GROUP
DK Company is a member of the Leather Working Group, and all our brands, including Part Two, only source leather from tanneries with a LWG certification. Leather Working Group and its members drive improvement across the global leather supply chain.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ VISCOSE
LENZING™ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres are produced using pulp which is derived from wood as raw material. A special manufacturing system enables LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres to be identified in the final product, even after long textile processing and conversion steps through the value chain. Lenzing™ and ECOVERO™ are trademarks of Lenzing AG.
TENCEL™ LYOCELL
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are a transformation from wood pulp to cellulosic fibres through a unique closed loop system. With fibre identification technology, TENCEL™ fibres can be verified in the final product and along the value chain though testing. This method of identification supplements transparency and traceability in the supply chain, ensuring the authenticity of TENCEL™ fibres. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.
TENCEL™ MODAL
TENCEL™ Modal fibres are extracted from naturally grown beech wood by an integrated pulp-to-fibre process, which is self-sufficient in energy and recovers co-products from the pulp mill. With fibre identification technology, TENCEL™ Modal fibres can be verified in the final product and along the value chain though testing. This method of identification supplements transparency and traceability in the supply chain, ensuring the authenticity of TENCEL™ fibres. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG
REPREVE ®
REPREVE® Polyester is made from 100% recycled materials. With the FiberPrint® and U TRUST® technologies, transparency and traceability can be verified throughout the entire supply chain. REPREVE® is a registered trademark of Unifi, Inc. in the US and other regions.
