About Part Two

Part Two was established in 1986 in Copenhagen. From the beginning, our Scandinavian design tradition has inspired our designs and formed the foundation of our design philosophy. The same year, we introduced the classic look, meant to inspire women to wear beautiful, relaxed clothing that reflects an active and healthy lifestyle. Very quickly, we found success with our designs – and a journey had begun.

Our base in the heart of Copenhagen, at Holmen, in one of the old, charming gunboat buildings from the 19th century – located in a vibrant area filled with creative, art, and design schools. It provides us with the perfect, inspiring setting to create and design the Part Two collections. We love the city, and it inspires us daily, but we also draw inspiration from big cities like New York, London, and Paris. We source materials from Italy and produce both in Europe and Asia.

We believe that a perfect design evokes emotions the first time you see it. We want to create modern yet timeless items that you can keep season after season. This has been our goal since 1986 and remains the foundation of everything we do. Simply put: we design clothing with a Scandinavian touch for real women living authentic lives – all around the world.

At Part Two, we aim to design clothes that remain favorites over time. We know that the most important quality of clothing is the fit, and it is crucial to find the right materials. We believe in authenticity and honesty, and with more than 30 years of experience, we continue to design quality-conscious collections, containing both classic and modern designs for women who value authenticity and want a wardrobe that fits an active everyday life. We believe that beautiful design is a balance between appearance and the feeling of wearing the clothes. It is essential for us to design clothes where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, with special attention given to the fit.

The construction of each garment is a craft we humbly respect and take pride in perfecting. We strive to ensure that every single detail is just right and that the final garment turns out as we originally envisioned. Care is taken to ensure that the design is flattering and the fit is perfect. We take care to design styles that highlight the body’s fine features and ensure that they fit well on different body types.
